In 2003, under the Freedom of Information Act, the CIA declassified a document named ‘Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Experience, written in 1983 by US Army commander Wane M. McDonnell. The document reveals an assessment regarding a psychic test carried by the Monroe Institute. The most striking of all the methods undertaken, is a technique called patterning, which states that our thoughts, when conducted with adequate intensity have the power to influence the development of reality. Additionally, the institute warns to be cautious to force this method, as the individuals could possibly dislocate their existing reality with drastic consequences.
Monroe Institute is still operating today, and is the largest training centre in the world for the study of human consciousness.
