BA (Hons) Fine Art | Class of 2021

During my time as an artist, I have found a passion for the human form. My research over this year has also highlighted an interest in sculpture. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on what materials I was able to source I have been working with paper mache and paper mache clay which was easily available and easy to make at home. I have been researching the work of Rebecca Warren and Jesse Wine and am influenced by their amazing sculptures and the unusual way Jesse Wine has sculpted body parts. My practice recently has been based on colour. I have incorporated complimentary colours into my work to enhance the vibrancy, both in my model making and my oil and acrylic painting.
