BA (Hons) Photography, Video and Digital Imaging | Class of 2020

My photographic practice draws on personal experiences, using a pseudo-scientific approach to examine the themes and questions involved. Predominantly, I work with digital photography but with my most recent works I have worked with multimedia, involving analogue photography as well as video and sound, in order to communicate and connect with the audience.

One body of work which reflects this approach is ‘Sibilants‘, which uses video and sound to investigate the norm of speech and the ways it can differ between individuals due to a range of factors.

My latest work, ‘Predisposition‘, uses microscope photography alongside studio photography to investigate genetic conditions and illnesses, and how we can come to terms with them.
