MA Fine Art | Class of 2020
I am a political artist working with multiple forms of media, techniques, and processes. Political art is a recent change in my practice, before this I was an abstract artist that dealt with shapes and form, nature, abstraction, and playfulness with colour. I have enjoyed my explorations in the abstract art fields and I have used my experience and skills learnt during this period to fuel my new pathway to political art. My art now focuses on political figures and inequality within local and wider communities. My passion for these topic areas stems from my experiences with education, political movements, and living within the north-east of England where racism is quite common.
