Graphic Design | Class of 2020
I began studying Graphic Design during my school years and I soon developed a passion for digital art which spurred me on to study for a degree in design. University has introduced a whole new world of techniques and styles; many of which I hadn’t explored before. Previously I had always enjoyed drawing digitally with programmes such as Illustrator but have further improved my drawing skills in the further use of software and technique. Through experimentation, I have learned that hands-on processes such as lino printing give me the most satisfaction in the qualities it brings to my work; and I realise it is something I intend to pursue in future projects. I used this style of print for my Final Major Project by creating a charity-based campaign with lino printed artwork. The project looked at how important the trees are and how they should be preserved.
