BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Promotion | Class of 2021

The thesis of my work concerns sustainable fabrics dyed through the use of only organic matter. Through the use of perished fruits/vegetables and foraged produce I am able to create garments that are both eco-friendly and fashionable.

My design work is often inspired by contemporary art, architecture and world issues. Throughout my extensive research, I enjoy amalgamating my knowledge in chemistry and botany with fashion design.

Harmful chemical dyeing is a key issue I aim to disseminate in the fashion industry today. Through my use of dramatic silhouettes and fabric manipulation across my garments, I hope to prove that high fashion can be engineered from ecological sources.
